In Memoriam: Albus Dumbledore

Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was probably one of the Hogwarts mentors that treated Harry like his own son. Dumbledore taught Harry how to overcome and accept and was very kind, brilliant, and talented and gifted, he is also known as the wizard who defeated the evil Dark wizard of his day-Grindelwald-in 1945 and the discovery of the twelve uses of dragon blood and his friendship and relationship with alchemist Nicolas Flamel and basically had personal problems in his household. His father was a Muggle-hater and was rumored to have killed several Muggles and eventually was imprisoned and his brother Aberforth also was unfriendly and unkind to him (at their sister Ariana's funeral, Aberforth punched Dumbledore on the nose.). His mother Kendra was a fine woman and his sister Ariana was quite always neglected and several theories have stated that Kendra killed Ariana all of which are not true.
Despite these painful facts, Albus Dumbledore was a great wizard-greater than Harry-and indeed famous. It is tragic that Dumbledore died.

In Memorium: Severus Snape

Severus Snape was the bravest man in Potterverse, and yet he has been the least appreciated by his fellow wizards. At a young age he grew up in a family that neglected him, and his only friend was Lily Evans (later to be Potter), a Muggle-born who lived near him. Despite the fact that the Sorting Hat separated them - it put Snape into Slytherin, the house that held many future Death Eaters - and Lily into Gryffindor - they grew to be best friends. But alas, the people of Slytherin drew Snape even further into the Dark Arts he was always fascinated by - and Lily hated the Dark Arts. Lily broke ties with him as he got in too deep with them, but he loved her nonetheless. When he found out that Voldemort was planning to hunt down her son (and their entire family) because of the prophecy, he immediately asked Dumbledore to hide Lily and her family. He was Dumbledore's man from that on, acting as a spy. When she died he had no reason to keep living, but he did, as Dumbledore needed him. He protected Harry from danger 'behind-the-scenes', and he did this because he was Lily's son. When he saw Harry on a daily basis he only saw James, whom he loathed for teasing him, and more importantly, taking away Lily, his best friend whom he also loved, and how much he did she never knew. But despite this grduge he protected Harry at risk to his own life, being hated by all. The only light in his life was Lily, and she was gone. When Albus Dumbledore wass dying because of a cursed ring he put on, he requested Snape to murder him (to keep in Voldemort's good books, and because it would make Dumbledore inevitable death less painful). He did so, even though it pained him to do it. Now, still Dumbledore's man, he was hated by Harry more than ever, as Harry did not know that Snape was his protector, the man who loved his mother more than life. When Harry stayed in a forest, in search for Horcruxes, a Silver Doe Patronus guided him to what he needed - the object that would destroy Horcruxes. Months later, Snape was murdered by Voldemort's snake on his orders, because he thought that killing Snape would make him the master of the Elder Wand. He didn't know that his "loyal servant" Snape was Dumbledore's man. Harry entered in the room where Snape lay dying, and in those moments he gave Harry memories to examine in a Penseive, and then, as his last breath approached, he said "look..at..me..". He wanted to look into Lily's eyes again, because Harry had his mother's eyes. And then he died, and Harry, still thinking him Dumbledore's murderer, wasn't saddened, and went to examine the memories in the Pensieve. He learned of Snape's loyalty, his love for Lily ever since they were nine or ten. He find out that the Silver Doe that helped him was Snape's Patronus, and it was a doe because Lily's was a doe.

When Harry grew older, he named his second son Albus Severus. He told his child that he was named Severus after "the bravest man he ever knew". Let us echo that sentiment, Muggles and wizards, and hail that man. He never got the credit he deserved in live, but let it be known that despite his flaws, he was a true Hero.

Ramandeep's Belated Account of the Release of the Seventh Book of Hary Potter

Saturday, July 21, 2007:

It was a very beautiful and yet sunny afternoon. My dad and I went to the local Barnes and Noble bookstore at Eastridge Mall in San Jose, California, USA. The new seventh Harry Potter book had just released . I missed the midnight celebration the day before (Friday, July 20, 2007) and I was worried that all the books had been bought and sold and there was no more.
I opened the door of the bookstore and walked inside the scented and coffee-smelling bookstore.
I ran everywhere around the store loooking for the shelves where they had the seventh book. But I could not find it anywhere. So far my prediction was coming true. No Harry Potter seven books around. I almost gave up hope when suddenly I had an idea! I asked the employee who was nearby on where the seventh book of Harry Potter was. The employee told me that the books were at the checkout stands and my dad and I went there.

The cashier at the checkout stand was quite friendly. I asked him to give me a copy of the seventh book and he gave it to me. I was so excited and we bought the book. On the way home, my dad and I bought Indian samosas to celebrate the close to the Harry Potter books from the local Indian restaurant/sweet sh0p called Raj Palace Restaurant and I read like a maniac throughout the way home and from that time on I have been reading it for quite a while. It is apretty good book!

You should read it. Especially the epilogue.

So You Never Read Harry Potter?

Blimey! What a bloke you are! Reading the Harry Potter is a wonderful experience! It takes you to a world of wizards, witches, mythical creatures, and yes spells. This young boy wizard has cast a spell on people everywhere and will continue to charm people everywhere for generations to come. Despite the fact that Professor Albus Dumbledore died in the sixth book and Sirius died in the fifth book, let us just say Harry has to survive alone and face the Dark Lord Voldemort himself.

The Harry Potter series begins with the cruel murder of Lily and James Potter on October 31, 1981 by the Dark Lord Voldemort himself. After murdering Lily and James, Voldemort turns his wand onto their infant son, Harry, and somehow the curse backfires and eventually Voldemort vanishes, making Harry Potter "The Boy Who Lived" and somewhat famous in the Wizarding world.

Several years later, Harry is raised by his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon and Cousin Dudley. They are his only family yet they treat him differently. But all that changes on his 11th birthday when a giant named Rubeus Hagrid comes to his house and tells him who he is.

Harry learns that an evil Dark Wizard murdered his witch mother and wizard father when he was only one and with the help of his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger he will have to avenge his parents' death and kill Voldemort.

Sound interesting, eh, Muggle? Well, you should read it and believe for yourself. That will be all.
