In Memoriam: Albus Dumbledore

Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was probably one of the Hogwarts mentors that treated Harry like his own son. Dumbledore taught Harry how to overcome and accept and was very kind, brilliant, and talented and gifted, he is also known as the wizard who defeated the evil Dark wizard of his day-Grindelwald-in 1945 and the discovery of the twelve uses of dragon blood and his friendship and relationship with alchemist Nicolas Flamel and basically had personal problems in his household. His father was a Muggle-hater and was rumored to have killed several Muggles and eventually was imprisoned and his brother Aberforth also was unfriendly and unkind to him (at their sister Ariana's funeral, Aberforth punched Dumbledore on the nose.). His mother Kendra was a fine woman and his sister Ariana was quite always neglected and several theories have stated that Kendra killed Ariana all of which are not true.
Despite these painful facts, Albus Dumbledore was a great wizard-greater than Harry-and indeed famous. It is tragic that Dumbledore died.

Ramandeep, I can't wait until you finish Deathly Hallows. We learn some shocking things about Dumbledore that make him appear much less perfect. I'll tell yu this much - at a point in Deathly Hallows, Dumbledore tells Harry that Harry is the greater man, not himself (Dumbledore).
